Help Protect The Abma Family Farm Animals From Further Trespassers & Abuse by Helping Fund the Installation of Surveillance Equipment & Lighting

WHAT SOME TEENS TRIED TO HURT AND DESTROY, OTHER TEENS ARE NOW TRYING TO HELP AND PROTECT!

Animal abuse and trespassing IS WRONG! While some teenagers may want to cause harm, others want to help. This is a plea from teenagers who want to do good by turning a negative situation into something positive. We want other teens, young adults and any supporters of the Abma Family to join forces and become involved to help PROTECT the Abma family and the animals from any further trespassing & abuse.

Destructive teenagers broke into the Abma Farm Barnyard Petting Zoo and disturbed and traumatized the animals. They opened gates and rode their miniature donkeys who should not be supporting that much weight. These teenagers took a snapchat photo and posted it on social media looking for support and laughs in a prank that hurt innocent animals. No one truly knows what else they may have done to the animals. This is not OK and not what teenagers should be doing!

We can't talk to tell you what was done to us!

What teens should be doing is supporting local businesses and protecting animals. So, in an effort to show that although there may be a small percentage of teenagers who break the law and are out to hurt others, there are a larger number that want to help. What some teenagers tried to tear down, other teenagers are now trying to rally their peers and supporters of the Abma Family to build up!

A teenage prank caused harm to innocent animals and impacted the life of the Abma Family during an already horrible time in history with the pandemic. Help us make the farm safe for the Abma Family and their Barnyard Petting Zoo Animals by donating or becoming a fundraiser to help purchase and install surveillance equipment and lighting around the farm that will ensure the safety of the animals.

We're launching a new campaign, with the Abma Family's support, to help fund the purchase and installation of new surveillance equipment and lighting that will immediately alert them of any break in and PROTECT THE ANIMALS, and it would be great if you were a part of it. It will cost approximately $20,000 to put in the proper surveillance equipment and lighting to ensure that trespassers will not be able to do any more harm to the animals.

Can you help protect me?

The Abma family is not looking to exploit this situation in any way which is why they weren't seeking any donations. They have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of support and are grateful to all especially those who have reached out to them during this time. After further thought, they have been inspired seeing that other teenagers want to help correct a wrong that was done to their family and animals and feel this fundraising effort on their behalf represents a positive message of hope for the next generation showing youth in action.

For this reason, the Abma Family would like to match dollar for dollar what this campaign raises with a combined goal of $20,000 to put in place safety measures that will protect their animals and farm from any other trespassers and abuse.
