Help Tim Continue His Autism/Inclusion/Anti-Bullying Mission
We are proud of 5Help Foundation's partner and board member, Tim Rohrer, who is an amazing young adult with autism who is an author, speaker, and advocate on social inclusion for kids, teens, and adults with disabilities. He has worked so hard for others to hear his message that his efforts have gone international!
Tim is the author of a teaching guide called “How to be a Good Influence to People with Disabilities“ and he is also the creator of his own website he named "Tips4Inclusion."
Tim’s efforts to raise awareness about the importance of social inclusion have been heard around the globe. He has been spoken at over 75 schools, conferences, professional workshops and corporate America. He presented at the Autism NJ conference to discuss advocacy, awareness and creating inclusive programming in schools and was also a presenter for the NJEA teachers convention.
Tim has been recognized by the NJ state assemblymen and Senator with a commendation for all his work centered around inclusion and even presented to the NJ Dept of Education. In addition, he has been on the front page of the Asbury Park Press three times for his work and featured in many articles locally and nationally. He has also been on local news stations for his efforts. Tim is also a guest writer for “The Source” and has written many articles about inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
Tim has volunteered his time helping kids with social skills in the Millstone School district that he grew up in. During the COVID-19 quarantine, Tim launched a series of YouTube animated inclusion videos for virtual learning on his Tips4Inclusion YouTube Channel. He has spent countless hours creating videos about autism, disabilities, acceptance, kindness, inclusion, and his life.
He has written, illustrated, and self-published a children’s book, Timmy's Story: A Story About Autism and Friendship that is already in many classrooms. Tim published a sequel to his first book in the Timmy's Series titled, "Timmy's Story: A Sensory Friendly Birthday" in April 2023. Tim began creating resources, so children didn't have to struggle as he did growing up. He feels that children learn best when they are young, but educating everyone is important. He worked for 3 years for free out of the kindness of his heart to help create a more inclusive world volunteering his time to anyone that asked prior to making this his career.
As a 23-year-old, he self-funds the software that he needs to continue doing his videos and create other resources, as well as cover the costs of publishing his books and materials. Tim dreams to become the Martin Luther King for people with Disabilities. Let's help Tim live that dream!
All of us at 5Help Foundation, including Tim, are volunteers with 100% going to help others. This fundraiser is to help set Tim on the path to independence and help him continue his mission to help those with special needs and disabilities. If you have been inspired or helped by Tim's work, please consider a small donation and spread the word about his efforts. We are proud of all he has accomplished and are here to help support him every step of the way. Through 5Help Foundation, your donations are tax-deductible and 100% will go to Tim.
Please support his work and like his Facebook Tips4Inclusion Business Page or follow all he is doing with us on our 5Help's Facebook Business Page. Since joining forces, we have become known as "The Dream Team" and to date have raised over $350,000 to help seniors, veterans, small businesses, those on the front lines, kids and families in need, and those with special needs and disabilities.
Together, we have helped several thousand people, supported over 60 different nonprofits and agencies, helped more than 50 small businesses, and provided support to over 2,000 seniors. We also collected over 30,000 pounds of food to help stock 7 food pantries in 4 counties as well as collected, bound, and bagged over 3,300 pairs of shoes to be given to micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries to help them earn a living wage.
Please help Tim continue this important mission of inclusion. Can you donate at least $5 and ask 5 friends to do the same? It's the "Power of 5!" As Tim's drawing best shows:
We are behind you 100%, Tim!! Can you show that you are too?! A small donation will go a long way as well as provide the encouragement for Tim to continue his mission!
